Dear prospective grooms/ their parents,
Subject- a note from the parents of Angshukana
At the outset, thanks for stopping by.
My daughter, not out of parental affection, but from others judgment, is a
really a loveable woman in every sense. Neither flashy nor shallow, she
has all the right values ingrained in her. I know, look matters, hence, look
wise, she is very pretty, and has 'childlike' and not 'childish' qualities. Her
vivacity and jolly nature and freshness make her also look much younger
than her age. She is well qualified and working in a very promising sector.
We are on this portal for quite some time. Some profiles we liked, but
prospective grooms walked out, as all of them wanted to uproot her, which
my daughter strongly opposed. She discouraged us to look for grooms for
her, neither she herself takes any initiative. She is busy in her own world,
in work, in her studies and in off time contributing to the causes of
underprivileged children or in learning Karate from her father or in
practicing 'Art of Living'. But, time passes by. We are worried about
finding a suitable partner for her.
Her work experience—-Angshukana worked in Fidelity Investments, an
MNC in B'lore for four years. Worked as Deputy Manager, now working with one of startup company at Delhi.
I have made this profile on behalf of my sister. She is currently working as a senior manager / manager in private sector, after having completed her master's degree. We come from an affluent, nuclear family with liberal values presently living in Delhi.
She is a friendly, good-natured and has an optimistic approach towards life. Her friends describe her as an approachable, mature and responsible person. Her hobbies include travelling, dancing (learnt Kathak from Birju Maharaj), reading, watching movies/plays and listening to music. She is a foodie and enjoys mostly all delicacies. Also, she believes in staying fit. She does yoga every day. In short, she is a person with varied interests. We consider our daughter a perfect blend of modern and traditional values.
She is born in Calcutta but brought up at various places in North India due to my transferable job. She has done most of her schooling from Udaipur followed by graduation in BSc Economics and Management from London School of Economics. For Masters, she joined Cardiff University for MSc in Economics and Banking course
